My name is Millicent Machell and I am an English student at Durham University. Interpretation X was conceived of when I decided that I needed a platform to share my love of writing and an opportunity to write articles and poetry without thematic or formal limitations.

I am an avid contributor to 'The Palatinate', Durham's student newspaper and I have been scribbling poems in the safety of my own notebooks for a very long time. However, I hope the Interpretation X is an opportunity to release anything and everything I write into the world.

In time, I hope that I will be able to use this platform to share the work of other young and unknown writers so that it becomes a truly creative space.
